With over 11 years as a full time photographer and 5 years working in the Arts and Culture sector of Toronto, I’ve accumulated a wealth of knowledge that i’m ready to share with you.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME…
After pursuing a business degree at the University of Western Ontario, I set my sights on the bright lights of the city and never looked back. From architecture firms, to museums, to furniture shops, to film agencies and all the juicy side hustles in between, I finally found my passion within the realm of photography. Not only was I deeply committed to capturing the world surrounding me, but also to gaining both the technical and cultural understanding this work demands. We are not simply taking photos, that’s what iPhones are for, what we’re doing is studying human behaviour in a way that enables us to capture the essence of what’s unfolding. Whether for brands, mothers, lovers, entrepreneurs or creatives the assignment remains the same, that is to tell the story in a way that makes us feel.
If you’re simply interested in taking pretty pictures, I might not be the best mentor for you. Where i’ll guide you is far deeper than that, to a place where your passion meets your commitment and your vision becomes your reality.
I’m not sure where your road will eventually lead you, but I promise you this, our time spent together will awaken your creativity and leave a lasting impression on the way you approach and grow within you chosen art.
